Acceptance of Terms
By booking a skip bin with Bin There Done That Skips, the customer agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
Booking Confirmation
A booking is not confirmed until the required deposit has been received and confirmed by Bin There Done That Skips. Bin There Done That Skips reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking at its discretion.
Optional bin doors are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed unless confirmed by Bin There Done That Skips.
Payment Terms
A $100 deposit is required to secure all bookings.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled delivery date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Failure to make payment may result in cancellation of the booking.
Pricing
All prices displayed are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated. Advertised prices apply to the nominated waste type and applicable weight allowance only. Additional charges may apply for:
Excess weight
Incorrect waste type
Mixed waste
Overloaded bins
Prohibited materials
Special disposal items
Additional Disposal Charges
The following items incur additional disposal charges:
Mattress: $65 each
Car Tyre: $20 each
Truck Tyre: $40 each
These items must be declared at the time of booking. Undeclared items may result in additional charges being applied after collection. Where prohibited waste is discovered after collection, the customer remains liable for all disposal, transport, clean-up and administrative costs incurred.
Delivery Access
The customer is responsible for ensuring safe and suitable access for delivery and collection. The delivery area must:
Be accessible to a heavy vehicle
Have sufficient clearance from trees, power lines and structures
Be free from obstructions
Be capable of supporting the weight of the truck and skip bin
If delivery or collection cannot be completed due to restricted access, additional fees may apply.
Council Permits & Public Land Placement
Where a customer requests a skip bin to be placed on public land, including but not limited to roads, footpaths, nature strips, council verges, or other public areas, the customer is responsible for obtaining any required council permits or approvals prior to delivery. Bin There Done That Skips reserves the right to refuse delivery where the appropriate permits have not been obtained. Any fines, penalties, permit costs, or charges incurred as a result of a skip bin being placed on public land without the necessary approvals shall be the sole responsibility of the customer. Customers should check with their local council regarding permit requirements before booking.
Placement of Skip Bin
The customer is responsible for nominating a suitable location for the skip bin. Bin There Done That Skips accepts no responsibility for damage to:
Driveways
Paths
Lawns
Irrigation systems
Underground services
Septic systems
Pavers
Concrete surfaces
Landscaping
Utility infrastructure
where the skip bin has been placed at the customer's direction. The customer warrants that the nominated location is suitable for the weight of both the delivery vehicle and the loaded skip bin.
Movement of Skip Bin
Once delivered, the skip bin must not be moved by the customer or any third party. Only Bin There Done That Skips is authorised to relocate a skip bin. Any damage, injury, loss, or costs resulting from the unauthorised movement of a skip bin will be the responsibility of the customer.
Loading Requirements
Waste must not exceed the top rim of the skip bin. Bins loaded above the rim cannot be legally transported. The customer may be required to remove excess waste before collection or incur additional charges. The customer must ensure waste is loaded safely and evenly within the skip bin.
Permitted Waste
Only the nominated waste type may be placed in the skip bin. Customers must ensure waste complies with the selected category. Additional charges may apply where waste types are mixed or incorrectly classified.
Prohibited Waste
The following items must not be placed in the skip bin:
Asbestos
Chemicals
Paints and solvents
Batteries
Gas bottles
Oils and fuels
Medical waste
Hazardous materials
Explosives
Fire Extinguishers
Radioactive materials
If prohibited materials are discovered, additional handling and disposal charges will apply and collection may be delayed.
Where prohibited waste is discovered after collection, the customer remains liable for all disposal, transport, clean-up and administrative costs incurred.
Hire Period
The standard hire period is specified at the time of booking. Additional hire charges may apply if the bin is retained beyond the agreed hire period. Customers requiring an extension should contact Bin There Done That Skips as soon as possible.
Collection
The customer must ensure safe access for collection on the agreed collection date. If collection cannot be completed due to blocked access, locked gates, parked vehicles, or other obstructions, additional charges may apply.
Cancellation Policy
Bookings cancelled more than 24 hours before delivery will receive a full refund of the deposit.
Bookings cancelled within 24 hours of delivery may forfeit the deposit.
Bin There Done That Skips reserves the right to retain part or all of the deposit to recover costs associated with scheduling, administration and transport arrangements.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bin There Done That Skips shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from the use, delivery, placement, hire, or collection of a skip bin. The customer acknowledges that skip bins are heavy industrial containers and accepts responsibility for ensuring the placement location is suitable
